Malaysia: A Failed Attempt at a Hike in Kuala Lumpur

Scroll down to content

I tried to do a hike and canopy walk at the Forest Research Institute Malaysia, but they ended up cancelling my booking due to agricultural clearing/forest fire smog all the way from Indonesia (don’t buy palm oil people…!). So I walked a lot around FRIM, but I’d like to go back and do a more legitimate hike in Malaysia.

Also had fun exploring the markets, being fascinated by how late restaurants stay open, my friend & I being the only people at a rooftop bar with an excellent DJ (weird), and exploring Batu Caves, a highlight of my brief time here.
